Yesterday morning I asked you to identify this

Now of course I know what it is, so I was quite surprised when you lot seemed to go off on a foody theme...

I can assure you it has nothing to do with meat, cake or fruit

It mite've been some kind of staleg, but hold tite, it isn't!

It's not a shell from a walnut or an almond either...

Hmmmm.... what to do?

Spicy said "It looks like part of a shell or rock so it obviously isn't " Oh no?

Damn well looks like one to me but Spicy said it wasn't so that means I must've won again doesn't it?

I thought I may well have you beaten with this one, but no... in fact quite a few of you worked out what it was all about.

Sula was first to realise this was some kind of royal crest and Munzly followed that up by suggesting the design had something to do with Customs & Excise...

It was MissyMouse who demonstrated her knowledge of weights and measures with the first correct answer though.
