It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to this week's answer and winner's details.

Okay, yes, it is some detail from a flower...
Congratulations to everyone who spotted that little fact.

But hey you know I wanted a but more detail than that...

This week has been memorable for many reasons, among them the amount of research some people are prepared to go to to achieve the correct answer...

Thank you very much Yes in REnglish is hard for mwe know the dame of most flowers, i know the usual ones...but i use o see while saurfing on net so i knew i saw it! Then i just went to catch a link so u see what i mean with the flower i think it was/is

      Telling which image you'd like and what your screen resolution is means I can send you an image of the correct size for your desktop... all the photos I have stored here have been reduced in size to save space, so they're not really big enough to be used as desktop wallpaper.

I hope you are well, and enjoying these intermittent bits of sunshine.

I've missed all the fun Been having computer problems and eventually started to suspect a virus, seems ok now but this looking in after the answer's posted saves alot of time and brainstrain!!!

Anyway, I'm not going to hex anything by mentioning a next time.

    Something puzzling me regarding the weather - have you had any strawbs recently? Not the elusive wild variety, but shop-bought ones from Perthshire, Kent, Hereford? They're delicious at the moment, more flavour than any other year I can remember, but how come??? No sun, I thought fruit wouldn't ripen without sun and all our vegetation would die, but seems not.
    
    Our computer seems ok now, although Mike emailed something to his workplace last weekend and they were having trouble this week Bit of a coincedence?? Anyhow, I'm hoping we've sorted our problem. As the PC LED continues to flash on the modem and the Cable LED intermittently, after I've logged off, I wondered if the computer was updating, so I left it on, as we normally switch off when we're finished. After two days both were still flashing, but the problems seem to have cleared. Would that make sense?
    
    Anyroad, Mike's just got back, hoepfully with two punnets of strawbs!! Must go!

      St Swithin's day was the 15th... last Tuesday.
      
      Haven't bought any strawberries in ages... they're usually so disappointing. Perhaps I'd better buy some.
      
      Sounds as though there may be a hardware issue with your PC. It's not usual for the indicators to flash continually for days on end...

        Yes, do try them, this week's they're from Fife and Sains are selling them half price. Perhaps not as sweet as last weeks, but still taste of strawberry which up till now I've found a rarity!
        
        Thanks for the PC suggestion, I will pass it on and see if we can get it looked at. Seems to be running well at present, but the LED's are still flashing away.

        Just going through hotmail, came across this one - hope you didn't buy any strawbs... I once heard the season only lasts two weeks but never really paid any heed, but judging by the ones Mike brought back, I'd have to say it could be true. Unfortunatley after I'd urged you to get some I tried the latest purchase, and they were back to the usual tasteless slightly sour nothing. Sorry my friend, didn't mean to make you waste your money.
        
        Looks like the first half of July might be the time to buy next year, or make the most of any wild ones perhaps
        
        Anyroad, I'm in the midst of sorting through emails, but Mike's home now so I need to go.
        
        I hope things are ok for you, I've still got to look at Outlook but will reply as soon as I do, although not tonight.
