Grumpybloke was first passed the post this week when he suggested I was some kind of Cretaceous left over...

I won't be offended if you call me a FOSSIL at all GB, for that's exactly what I am.

Good morning teaser fans, here I am with another Little Something For The Weekend.

I'm afraid last week's teaser was far too easy so I decided to go for something a tad more difficult this time around.

Congratulations also go to Jembajr who hit the nail exactly on the head saying, "I shall say that this is a close up of Usky in his specs."

Not a pretty sight I know, but as you can see Jem was spot on.

Most inspirational() guess of the week must go to Happy who thought the teaser looked like a pair of testicles...

Well done to everyone who also guessed spectacles; I see from the number of right answers I'll have to make next week's a bit harder.

I thought I had you again, but I'm feeling kind of generous so I'm going to award a joint prize this week.

Munzly said "Ice or snow" and Mycorneroftheworld said "The beach starting to freeze into ice? Looks like sand and some grass too." Jembajr suggested "A little stream that's gone a bit muddy." If we roll the three together we get the right answer... well kind of... hmmm... perhaps I ought to change my mind and claim the prize myself?

The correct solution, as you can all see, is the solidified edge of a frozen puddle.

I think it's time I revealed the answer to the New Year Special...

First of all, well done to all those who said the image was of some nuts...

A special mention to Gilraen who was so quick off the mark with her guess, "walnuts" and to Flim Flam who suggested "mixed nuts"; both were so, so close...

But the winner on this occasion has to be EllieGant who correctly identified the object as "a hazelnut and two walnuts".

To be honest I was originally going to accept mixed nuts as the answer, but since a couple of people identified the nuts shown accurately I decided the prize had to go to Ellie.
