Well, well, well... seems like I fooled you guys this weekend. 
Some very good and quite close answers, but no-one actually got it right; surprised me because so many of you guessed pine needles and fir trees recently...

Pro Good one! I should have got it, twice I went looking at pine/conifer trees as a possibility, but couldn't reconcile anything I found with your picture.
