Many apologies folks... I forgot to post the answer to the weekend teaser last night in my rush to get off in time for Cranford. Mea culpa and all that. :yes:

On Saturday morning I asked you to identify this:

So, who was this week's winner? Well... it was ME! :))

Ok, ok I know... you want to know what it was don't you? :yes: Here it is:

Still don't know? It is a bit abstract I suppose....

What you're looking at is a roll of red plastic sacks wedged between a couple of rocks on a beach... I'd have accepted anything indicating a roll of plastic on this occasion.

No way! I don't see how anyone could have got that except by pure guesswork - A bit OTT, this week my boy. The power is obviously going to your head.

    With the sandworm tubes some weeks ago (recently reprised on your photo-blog), I'd have got it if we had that sort of worm along the coast here, so my failure was due to ignorance, (a lot of that about), I missed the rusty chain links, but could have got it if my imagination had worked better, so again, that was a fair test. I should have got the thistle - kicks self on shin, etc. etc.
    
    So, as I see it, in every case until now, there has been some factor that would have allowed the answer to be arrived at by imaginative deduction, but with this one, what looked like the only real clue, the broken texture in the fold, was so misleading that, in my opinion, it actually negated the correct answer even if one had managed to add it to ones guess list.
    
    However, a great job and a big thankyou for the weekend entertainment, even this one just past.....

      Point taken. In my defence though I thought it reminiscent of the rolls of plastic sacks (usually black of course) you see on supermarket shelves, which often have that distinct curl. Even a roll of bank notes, should you be lucky enough to have such a wad!
      
      You have me thinking about next week's now though... and wondering if maybe that will fall into the same category. I hope it won't, but do expect it to be hard to guess.

        Yes hahahaha, thanks for the cumpliment we have eagle's eye, we are really very smart BUT this one didn't seem plastic at all and trash to complete Munzly is right..beat him Munzly LOL
