A Little Something For The Weekend?

Well we seem to had a bit of fun with this weekend's teaser, although there were no really outragous guesses this week.

Yesterday I asked you to identify this:

Happy28 got the exact answer (or maybe the credit ought to go to her husband?) when she said "Husband confidently assures me that this is a Supersoaker water pistol buried in sand."

So, congratulations Happy (and Hubby)... the virtual prize draw is now open and as mentioned if there's an image of mine you'd like as desktop wallpaper, just let me know.

As I'm up and about at this ridiculous hour I thought I may as well make an early start with this weekend's teaser.

Same format as the last couple, so expect no right or wrong comments, nor heavy hints. The answer and any winner will be posted at stage tomorrow (Sunday).

Instead of the usual very close look at an object, this week’s teaser is an odd angle shot. Here it is, but what is it?

Good evening all; the moment noneof you have been waiting for has arrived...
I'm about to reveal the answer to this weekend's teaser!

La Spice got very close when she suggested droplets of water on seaweed.
Dennypoos got very close when he suggested the surface of a pond with bits of pond-weed sticking through.

There were several extremely interesting guesses, including a robot's sperm count!

None were completely accurate...

This is actually the edge of a reservoir... there are blades of grass poking through the surface of the water.

So okay, I think this week's teaser should be shared and as the two closest guesses were Dennypoos and La Spice, I am opening the Virtual Prize Draw to them both. Choose wisely my friends.

It's that day again, although a little later than usual... I slept late... no excuses.

So anyway, on the weekend teaser. Last week's experiment seemed to work well enough, so I'll follow the same format thi week too. Just to remind you, no pointers from me about right or wrong answers...

Time for another Little Something for the Weekend, but this week's teaser is a teaser with a twist.

In an effort to make my teaser last longer and allow people to 'have a go' through the day, I will NOT be indicating whether your guesses are right or wrong. I may still make the odd comment though.

To see how this goes I'm going to start with a nice easy teaser, which I'm sure you'll spot quickly enough. I'll let it run through the day and if this is a success I'll post another teaser tomorrow.
