Well it's Saturday morning and that means it's time once again for a weekend teaser, so here's this week's image:

A common sight at this time of year so please try to be specific, but what is it?
Wallpaper? Really? Gosh, no it's not that.
Not bubble wrap either.
And hideously difficult wallpaper it is to make sure it's evenly coated with paint, too.
Oh well, I retire defeated.
I imagine it would be, if the wallpaper is like bubble wrap...
It was glistening the same wasy as the white undercoat was, but I promise we weren't using cuckoo-spit!
I spend too little time in the country, me-thinks.
My garden's full of the stuff. Those little hoppers seem to like the lavender best.
Tony Blair's brain cells - all frothy and empty
A man with insight, but unfortunately
I told you not to show that one of my cellulite after the cold shower ![]()
You said that it was for your private collection ![]()
That's the last time I take my clothes off in the name of art
Could be a golf ball though
Damn, I wish!
Oops! The cat is out of the bag now... ![]()
Not a golfball
cuckoo-spit?
er...

We have a winner! ![]()

You obviously see things the same way I do.... ![]()
That's probably quite sad really. ![]()
:-)
but it was so obviously bubble-wrap, though...
and besides, if you saw thing like i do, it would mean an enduring and very anoraky attachment to, and fascination with, trawlers.
eek.
trolly x
P.S. do you know why it is called 'cuckoo spit', btw?
Well you know I've seen plenty of trawlers both at sea and in harbour in my time Trolly. ![]()
I have absolutely no idea why 'cuckoo spit' is so named...
"The name cuckoo-spit is said to have derived from the arrival of the spittle on plants which coincided with the first call of the cuckoo in spring. There are also oblique references to superstitions about spitting, whenever a cuckoo is heard, to avoid bad luck. Certainly cuckoo-spit was an important ingredient in witches' brew (as in Macbeth) and in Scandinavian countries the froth is known as 'witches' spit'".
Ah ha! So now we know.

It's exactly like the wallpaper in the room I'm painting and decorating!!!
Or it's bubble wrap.
