Last week's Weekend Teaser was the neck of a wine bottle, correctly spotted by Trolly.

This week's Teaser may be a little harder to identify - well perhaps...
Answers on a postcard please....
I wondered if you may have been lurking out there somewhere...
Way off the mark with this one Spicey: care to try again? ![]()
A pressure cooker!

I'm not very good in a workshop! Far too many vices ![]()
Very good - I guess it could be in a workshop....
I'm allergic to alcohol... I feel much better about being way off the mark last week!
Doorbell?
Alarm clock?
Videotape...
The perfect excuse for being wide of the mark last week then.
So; one out of three, but which one? ![]()
dunno...can't figure it out
Seems I may have thrown folk a curve-ball this week. ![]()
Tape head on some sort of recording equipment? VCR?
GB
Excellent! Well done GB. ![]()
The image is indeed the rotating head and tape carriage of a VHS video recorder (yes I know, old technology!
).
So my man the prize it yours, but what'll it be? The world is, virtually, your lobster! ![]()
I'll open the box please Michael.

Take the money!
Do you remember the Monty Python skit on Take Your Pick? Maybe I should call you Mrs Scum...
No, can't say I do remember, but Mrs. Scum sounds nice...
GB ![]()
Suffice it say, it was typical Python. Talk about politically incorrect... ![]()
I was thinking door bell........![]()
oh we crossed in the post.....oh well!!! I had all this paper to chew through...it distracted me.....
You weren't alone in thinking doorbell. ![]()
You hamsters do love to chew don't you?
yes...
can i ask you a question....seeing as you have done this so beautifully yourself....how do you get links into your posts? have spent ages trying to work out how to do it and given up....
Sure thing ![]()
You can write code into posts (and comments) in HTML and it looks like this:
a href="http://usksider.blog.co.uk">Usksider's Photo Blog
You need to pointy brackets at either end of the above <at the beginning and > at the end, but if I put them in, all you'll see is this Usksider's Photo Blog.
Of course if you're writing a blog entry you can also highlight a piece of text and then click the hyperlink button in the editor (the one that looks like a chain). ![]()
yay!!!! Done it!! Thankyou......sorry.....you thought you'd finished work for the week....
thank you!!!!xxxxxxxxx
Pleasure my dear; always happy to help where I can. ![]()
I know....you are a star!!! Lordy I have to go and get some dinner sorted....its suddenly got all late.....doesnt time fly.....etc...
.....then got to root out my old clip ons....

More like a bat than a star...
Yes the evening seems to have flown doesn't it? Must go and do something about food myself.
Have a great rest of Friday. ![]()
yes and you! Is it my imagination or is your blog all revamped...or is it just the colours? Looks very nice!! Yes have agreat rest of Friday.....ps just installed the new keyboard and yes it is much quieter!!!! thanks a lot for telling me about it etc....came with a free mouse which is better than my old one so very happy bunny now!
Only this one, which is a new once-a-week venture. Usksider remains the same plumy colours I changed to a while ago.
Once again I'm happy to have been of some use. ![]()
May you both have many a silent hour at the keyboard.
yes it is quieter.....Tinks still thrashes it though!! But we'll see....xx
Ever though of trying Tinks out with a set of those rubber things bank tellers used to wear on their fingers?
I can just imagine suggesting that to her.....I'd get looked at.....with the EYES.......

Oooooh I can just imagine those scary eyes... ![]()
yes....it is intimidating.....

Darn kids, eh? Beat us up with nought but an ogle...
Hmmm... it won't let me put half a closing statement in...
To the right of the code you need put </a > without the spaces...
well actually I found the post I wanted and copied the title bar address.....went into WRITE of the current post.....highlighted the relevent word.....clicked the icon for links.....pasted the address in the pop up box thing....and job done......the bit about all the brackets was too complicated for my lickle brain.......
....but between the both of us...job done....![]()
Well good for you. It doesn't matter how you get there, as long as the end result is the desired result. ![]()

Looks like the inside of a music box or hurdygurdy to me

By the way I guessed last weeks straight away but didn't post. Then I noticed your clever use off editing.
Have a nice day
